Volunteers are key members of our Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community team. Volunteers serve on our Board of Directors, help with fundraising, and provide day to day assistance with clients in our programs.

Volunteers...
  • Provide support for hospice patients and their families
  • Take a walk with a participant in our Castle Center for Adult Day Health program
  • Assist with a craft activity at the Castle Center
  • Bring your therapy pet to the Castle Center
  • Help in Friendly Meals dining rooms
  • Entertain at the Friendly Meals or Castle Center
  • Assist with registration at a flu clinic
  • Distribute posters and information about home care in your community
  • Assist in the hospice garden
  • Help with the annual Poinsettia fundraiser to benefit Hospice at HCS
Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS) is Medicare certified, and licensed by the State of New Hampshire. HCS programs are provided to all service eligible individuals without regard to age, race, religion, sex, handicapping conditions, marital or economic status, except where constrained by specialized funding. HCS is a United Way Agency.
