Cancer and End of Life Care

  Hospice at HCS is sponsoring the annual Hospice Foundation of America live via satellite teleconference this year on Wednesday, March 24 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm at Conval Regional High School in Peterborough.  The program will feature national experts addressing care options related to cancer diagnosis as well as loss and grief reactions for patients, families and professional caregivers.  The teleconference will also examine psychosocial aspects of cancer, pain management, and ethical issues related to the disease.  Continuing education credits are available for nurses, social workers, home health aides, CNA's and many other professionals.  The processing fee is $25 per certificate on line or by mail $35.  To register for the teleconference, call Dot Fraser in Keene at X178 or Roz Cady in Peterborough at X 250.
