Ongoing Bereavement Support 

Drop in Bereavement Support and Grief Education is available in Keene and Peterborough. This is a time to talk about loss, find out about the grief process and coping strategies, and living with loss.  No registration is necessary, and all groups are offered at no charge as a community service. 

Keene Area Bereavement Drop In

Second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.  Drop in from 10:00am to 11:00am at Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services,  312 Marlboro Street in Keene.  

Peterborough Area Bereavement Drop In

First and Third Thursdays of every month, from  10:00am to11:00am, at the Bond Wellness Center, Conference Room, 425 Old Street Rd., Peterborough.

Hospice Library Hours

The Hospice at HCS library is open for anyone to browse through our new book collection or sit in quiet meditation.  Our bereavement staff is on hand to answer questions and talk about concerns.  Books are available on loan.

The Library is open every Monday from  12:00noon to 2:00pm.  The library is located at Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services, 312 Marlboro Street, Keene. For further information about these services, contact Lynn Anne Palmer, LICSW at (603) 352-2253.

If you are feeling:
  • Stress from caregiving
  • Fear and frustration, worry, guilt and anger
  • Isolation
Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS) is Medicare certified, and licensed by the State of New Hampshire. HCS programs are provided to all service eligible individuals without regard to age, race, religion, sex, handicapping conditions, marital or economic status, except where constrained by specialized funding. HCS is a United Way Agency.
