An ongoing Caregiver Support Group has formed in Charlestown. Meetings are the first Wednesday of the month, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm If you are caring for a family member, join with others to share concerns, information and strategies for coping. The group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services, 312 Marlboro Street in Keene. Respite care is available for this group. For more information, contact Lucy Stowell at 352-2253. Caregiver support groups are open to anyone who is a caregiver and would like the opportunity to share concerns in a supportive atmosphere. Group members share different ways of adapting to the continuing challenges of caregiving and exchange practical information and solutions. A morning support groups in Keene meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 10:00am. Meetings are also held at Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services, 312 Marlboro Street in Keene. Support Groups are offered free of charge as a community service. |
