Caregiver support groups are open to anyone who is a caregiver and would like the opportunity to share concerns in a supportive atmosphere.  Group members share different ways of adapting to the continuing challenges of caregiving, and exchange practical information and solutions.

The Keene support group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 10:00-11:30am at Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services, 312 Marlboro Street in Keene.  Respite care is available for this group.  For more information or to register, please contact Lucy Stowell at 355-8281.

Support Groups are offered FREE of charge as a community service.

When Should I Join a Support Group?
If you are feeling:
  • Stress from caregiving
  • Fear and frustration, worry, guilt and anger
  • Isolation
Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS) is Medicare certified, and licensed by the State of New Hampshire. HCS programs are provided to all service eligible individuals without regard to age, race, religion, sex, handicapping conditions, marital or economic status, except where constrained by specialized funding. HCS is a United Way Agency.
