The Castle Center Adult Day Program is a home away from home for adults who still want to enjoy active lives, yet require supervision for health and safety during the day. The Castle Center offers a structured program designed to assist adults to remain independent and active members of the community.
As a licensed medical adult day program, a nurse is on duty to monitor medications, answer questions, recognize any symptoms of illness early, and to be a resource to family caregivers.
The Castle Center offers a full range of activities for every interest - music, current events, baking, crafts, reminiscing, or just enjoying the company of peers and friends. Activities are often suggested by participants, and we love the variety of interests! Morning and afternoon snacks and a delicious and nutritious noon time meal is served each day.
At the Castle Center Adult Day Program staff - nurse, social worker, activities coordinator, and licensed nursing assistants - keep participants active and engaged, while monitoring health concerns. Our goal is to maintain participants' dignity and independence, and prevent premature placement in a long term care facility.
The Castle Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Participants may attend the days and hours that meet their needs, or their caregivers' needs. Our program staff can assist in arranging transportation. Our Preferred Care Private Duty program can also assist with wake up and transportation to the program on a fee basis.
The Castle Center for Adult Day Health is licensed by the State of New Hampshire. |

Sometimes caregivers are so involved with day to day caregiving activities that it is hard to see any other options for making sure those we love get the help they need. But caregivers need a break, too. The Castle Center Adult Day Program can offer respite to family caregivers and a stimulating home away from home for those who need help in order to continue their work schedule.
We encourage you to come for a visit and see if the Castle Center is right for you and your loved one. A home visit can also be made by our social worker for more information.
