Pioneers Club activities include: book clubs, bridge clubs, art classes, exercise, coffee hour, music, shuffle board, sewing, knitting, crossword & jigsaw puzzles, field trips, and access to the internet, newspapers, closed captioned tv news and weather.

Evergreen Club activities include: baking, crafts, painting classes, shuffle board, indoor golf, exercise classes, dominos, checkers, coffee hour, memory lane, jigsaw puzzles, trivia, music, field trips and bingo.

Sunshine Gang activities include: arts and crafts, singing, balloon toss, kick ball, indoor bowling, board games, puzzles, beads, baking, pot holders, listening to music, watching videos, story hour and watching live entertainment.

As a licensed medical adult day program, a nurse is on duty to monitor medications, answer questions, recognize any symptoms of illness early, and to be a resource to family caregivers.

The Castle Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Participants may attend the days and hours that meet their needs, or their caregivers' needs. Morning and afternoon snacks and a delicious and nutritious noon time meal are served each day.

Our program staff can assist in arranging transportation. Our Customized Care program can also assist with wake up and transportation to the program on a fee basis.

When Should I Call The Castle Center?
Sometimes caregivers are so involved with day to day caregiving activities that it is hard to see any other options for making sure those we love get the help they need. But caregivers need a break, too. The Castle Center Life Enrichment Program can offer respite to family caregivers and a stimulating home away from home for those who need help in order to continue their work schedule.

We encourage you to come for a visit and see if the Castle Center is right for you and your loved one. A home visit can also be made by our social worker for more information.
