Payment
Home Health Aide services may be paid for by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurances. When services are not covered by insurances, families may choose our Preferred Care private duty program.
The Visiting Nurses at Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services have a long tradition of providing care in our community. Our goal is to assist you to recover at home or to be independent at home - where you want to be. Whether skilled care is needed after a hospitalization or for assistance with a chronic illness, our home care team of visiting nurses, rehabilitation therapists, social workers and home health aides work with your physician to deliver the care you need. We provide not only the skilled care ordered by your physician, but also plan other support services that may helpful to you and your family.

Our Care Coordination staff can help you to determine exactly what you might need, as well as determine your insurance coverage for home health services and other sources of funding that may be available to you for home care. A registered nurse will make a home visit to make an assessment of the care needed, and develop a plan of care with your physician.

Referrals can be also be made by family, friends and neighbors, physicians, hospital discharge planners, social workers, or other healthcare professionals.
When should I think About Home Care?
"Home care is not just for older people. Home care is for people of all ages who need healthcare services at home."
