Our In Home Support services are designed to help seniors in the community continue to live at home by providing assistance with the normal activities of daily living. Multiple services are often combined, and may include: personal care, light housekeeping, delivered meals, running errands, meal preparation, medication reminders or nursing.
Examples of In Home Support Combinations:
Mr. J is an elderly man who is very independent, but has trouble with his vision and difficulty bending. He no longer drives. His Homemaker provides light housekeeping and runs his errands, while his Meals on Wheels driver brings him a nutritious meal 5 days a week.
Mrs. B is a frail woman in her 90's who needs help with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping and errands. Preferred Care provides an LNA to help with her personal care, a Homemaker to clean, prepare meals and run errands, and Meals on Wheels delivers a meal 5 days a week.
Mr. A is living with his daughter, who works full time. He is suffering from Alzheimer's and is no longer safe to be home alone. A Preferred Care LNA comes to the house every morning and helps him to get up and dressed. She then drives him to the HCS Castle Center for Adult Day Health, where he spends the day under the supervision of their trained staff members, including a nurse. At the end of the day his daughter picks him up on her way home from work.
An In Home Support Package can be tailored to meet your needs.
