Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services provides comprehensive rehabilitation therapies to assist you with recovery at home. Services include physical, occupational and speech therapies. The focus of our rehabilitation therapies is on recovery, strengthening and home safety, to give you confidence that you can safely be independent at home.
Physical Therapists provide treatment under your doctor's orders. They individualize an exercise plan that will assist in your recovery at home, and they will instruct you and family members in a home exercise program. Treatment modalities for home care include ultrasound and electronic stimulation. Our physical therapists also discuss your needs for durable medical equipment, such as walkers, canes and wheelchairs. They can determine your equipment needs, assist with ordering, and instruct you in how to safely use the equipment.
Occupational Therapists evaluate your cognitive skills, upper extremity functions and your need for adaptive equipment. They develop rehabilitative programs to increase independence with self care for activities of daily living.
Speech Therapists evaluate speech and communication problems and swallowing disorders. Therapists develop a rehabilitation program for speech and language skills, and instruct you and your family members to augment communication.
