Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services is a non-profit agency committed to serving all those in our southwestern New Hampshire region who are in need of home care or hospice services. Our Visiting Nurses Service was founded in 1907 in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Our Hospice Program celebrates its 25th year of service to the community in 2007. This long and continuous commitment to serving all in our region who are in need of homecare and hospice services speaks to the integrity of the agency and the compassionate competence of our care.
HCS also supports, through fund raising many other community services such as Nutrition services, Adult Day Care, Transportation, Maternal and Child Health Services and Community Clinics. Having all of these other important support services under our umbrella allows us to bring to patients a fuller continuum of care. We are able, for example, to seamlessly arrange for Meals on Wheels services for our hospice patients or needed transportation for our homecare patients.
We believe that non profit agencies are good for communities. They are mission driven and seek to provide services to all who need them. Resources are retained in the community. Excess of revenue over expense when it occurs stays in the community to support other needed services.
We are proud to be a non profit with the mission of helping individuals remain independent and living where they are most comfortable and where they want to be.
