Julie Greenwood, Board Chair

Julie Greenwood is a shareholder at the CPA firm of Nathan Wechsler & Company. She has been with the firm for twenty years and serves as Director of the firm’s Keene office location. Julie grew up in Keene and graduated from Keene State College. She has served on the several nonprofit boards, including Dress for Success, the Pope Memorial SPCA, and she joined the board of Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services in 2017. Julie enjoys painting landscapes and wildlife in oils.

Maura McQueeney, President and CEO

Maura McQueeney has served in executive leadership roles for both large and small organizations specializing in home health, hospice, medical equipment, and private duty services. She has been integral in consolidating multiple home health and hospice programs as well as fundamentally changing service delivery models to accommodate reimbursement changes. Her background includes acute care nursing quality leadership and she has served as an ANCC Magnet appraiser and trainer for twelve years, assessing best practice for nurses in hospitals across the country. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Health and a Doctoral Degree in Nursing with emphasis on service delivery and executive leadership.

Jane Larmon, Board Vice-chair

Jane Larmon is a retired Fine Art dealer. She has served as a board member of Monadnock United Way; New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, Monadnock Region; the past Chair of Monadnock Family Services; the past Chair of Stonewall Farm; and the past President of the Keene Chorale.

Eric Horne, Board Treasurer

Eric Horne is currently a Partner with Horne & Benik Networks, LLC. Horne & Benik Networks, formed in 2004, provides local businesses with computer and network support. Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from New Hampshire College (SNHU) in 1985. When not at work Eric enjoys hanging out with family and friends, restoring an old house, and goofing off.

Susan R. Abert, Board Secretary

Susan R. Abert is the Monadnock region’s only certified elder law attorney (CELA), a national certification recognized by the American Bar Association and received from the national elder law foundation. Her practice is limited to the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, Medicaid and special needs planning, guardianships, and other general elder law matters at Norton & Abert, P.C. She is a frequent speaker on estate planning and elder law in the Monadnock region and has been on the faculty of CLE courses sponsored by the NH bar and NH NAELA. Susan is a member of the national elder law foundation, the NH chapter of the national academy of elder law attorneys (NH NAELA), and the New Hampshire bar association’s estate planning and probate law section. She has previously served as president of the NH chapter of NAELA, on its board of directors, and received the 2017 chapter member of the year award and the 2016 Ann N. Butenhof award. Susan also serves on the board of Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene.

Dianne Bolton, Director

Dianne Bolton, MBA, MSN, RN is a nurse executive with specialty education and experience in quality and informatics. Most recently, Dianne implemented an agency wide Emergency Preparedness Plan for a New Hampshire Home Health and Hospice agency. Dianne also has acute, inpatient leadership experience and served for nine years as the Director of Nursing Informatics at St Joseph Hospital before serving as that organization’s Executive Director for Home Health and Hospice. Dianne has been an active member of several professional specialty organizations and currently is engaged with the New England Nursing Informatics Council. Dianne, who is a resident of Hancock NH, is eager to contribute to the HCS board and to bring her broad health care experience to the table.

Michael Chelstowski, Director

Mike Chelstowski retired after thirty-seven years in administration at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Masters of Business Administration with concentration in Health Management from Boston University. His past board involvement includes the Monadnock United Way and Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities. His current Board activities include Monadnock Family Services and Friends of the Keene Public Library. He is a member of the Elm City Rotary Club and serves as an advisor to the Monadnock Regional High School Interact club. He lives in Keene with his wife Kathy.

Betsy Cotter, Director at Large

Betsy Cotter, RN graduated as a Registered Nurse from Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse New York in 1973, married, and moved to New Hampshire. She married and moved to NH in 1973. Betsy worked at Cheshire Hospital in the delivery room until 1982, then transferred to the Keene Clinic as an OB ambulatory care nurse. She became the Director of Nurses for the clinic in 1986 and retired as Senior Director of Ambulatory Care in 2014. She is a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Kiwanis Club, 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County, and a board member of Center Stage Cheshire County. She has served as a member of HCS board since 2011 previously holding the titles of Secretary, Vice-chair, and Board Chair.

Mary Davis, Director

Mary Davis, RN worked at Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services for twenty-four years before retiring in 2017. Mary worked as a per diem nurse for several years before she became a member of the clinical management team and at the time of her retirement, Mary was the Clinical Director of the VNA. In this capacity, Mary worked cooperatively with the clinical team and managers to achieve a Five Star Quality Rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Mary is an active member of several professional and community organizations. Mary and her husband Mike reside in Keene. Mary has a degree in Healthcare Administration and is eager to bring her experience in homecare to the board at HCS.

Julie Green, Director

Julie Green graduated from John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1987. She recently retired after approximately forty-five years of human resources experience. She proudly spent more than thirty-five years devoted to various nonprofit healthcare leadership positions. Aside from HCS, other current volunteer positions are in support of Monadnock Family Services and the St. James Episcopal Church. Julie and her husband, Doug, have resided in Keene for over thirty years and are proud to be a part of very vibrant and caring community.

Allen Mendelson, Immediate Past Board Chair

Allen Mendelson, born in St. Louis, relocated to the Monadnock Region in 1974 to attend Antioch University. Since then he has worked in the areas of Education, Human Service Administration, and for the past 30 years has served as a Financial Advisor. Allen devotes a lot of his time to serving on non-profit boards. He has chaired the boards of the Keene Elm City Rotary Club, Monadnock United Way, Monadnock Children’s Museum, and Home Healthcare, Hospice, and Community Services. He has also served on the boards of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce, Hospice of the Monadnock Region, and Cedarcrest. He has a passion for photography and lives with his wife, Ellen, in Keene.

Dawn Michelizzi, CFO

Dawn Michelizzi has more than thirty years of experience in home care with fifteen years in the hospice industry in Philadelphia, PA. She has a strong knowledge of both home care and hospice. Dawn is responsible for directing all fiscal activities, including financial reporting, data analysis, accounting procedures, budget preparation, audit preparation, cost reports, and accounting computer systems for the agency. She has been involved in the development and documentation of procedures relating to compliance with Medicare regulations and audit procedures and has experience in all aspects of financial forecasting of regulatory and contractual changes, resource allocation, fund management, healthcare accounting, and internal controls.

Maureen O’Brien, Director

Maureen O’Brien is a native of Ohio who relocated to Fitzwilliam, NH in the late 1970s. She completed her undergraduate work at Trinity College in Washington DC, and her graduate work at Case Western Reserve University. She is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a psychotherapy practice in Peterborough and has worked for years in healthcare settings, including at HCS. She enjoys travel and is an active volunteer with RAM, an organization based in Knoxville, TN that provides health care to unserved populations throughout the United States

Brian Reilly, MD, Director

Brian J. Reilly, MD is a retired family physician. He joined the Family Medicine department at the Keene Clinic in 1980 and retired in 2012 from Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Hitchcock-Keene. He currently is serving his third term as a board member for HCS. In addition, he serves on the Keene Conservation Commission and is a trustee for both New Hampshire Audubon and the Loon Preservation Committee (immediate past board chair). Brian is an avid bird and nature photographer who has had several local displays of his photography. He lives in Keene with his wife, Reinette.

Judy Sadoski, Director

Judy Sadoski headed the City of Keene Youth Services and Human Services Departments for twenty-four years. She has served on Boards of Directors for NH Juvenile Court Diversion Network, NH Prevention Association, Keene Day Care Center, Monadnock United Way, and the City of Keene Planning Board and Personnel Advisory Board.

David Stinson, Director

A native of Texas, David Stinson is a veteran of the US Navy with thirty-one years as a Navy Chaplain. He retired in 2010 at the rank of Rear Admiral. David served three churches during his forty-four years in the ministry: South Congregational of Lawrence, MA; The Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, ME; and Glen Ridge Congregational of Glen Ridge, NJ. He retired from the ministry June 2017 after a twenty-five-year pastorate.

David Therrien, Director

David Therrien is a native to the Monadnock region. He grew up in Swanzey and now lives in Alstead, NH with wife, Lisa, and three children, Rachel, Aidan, and Brendan. David is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and previously owned The Melanson Company. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration from University of Vermont. He is a former board member of Monadnock United Way, Keene Elm City Rotary, Monadnock Humane Society, and The Orchard School and a current board member of the Keene Family YMCA.
