Press Release

From: 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County

April 1, 2026

At the February 2, 2026 meeting of 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County, our members selected Home Healthcare Hospice & Community Services (HCS) – Palliative Care Services to receive the collective donations.

HCS’s Palliative Care and Hospice Support provides person-centered guidance, emotional support, and care coordination for patients with serious illness – helping them clarify goals, complete advance directives, and access needed resources through a certified social work team. Just this week, the Palliative Care team shared that they have already been able to help two patients thanks to our generous gift. HCS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing comprehensive home healthcare, hospice, and community-based services to over 2,000 individuals daily across 52 southwestern New Hampshire communities. HCS is Medicare-certified and licensed by the State of New Hampshire. To learn more about HCS, visit www.HCSservices.org

Since our chapter first met in November of 2016, 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County has grown to exceed 354 caring and generous members and, to date, has provided over  $687,372 in funding to a diverse group of Cheshire County non-profits! Each member commits to donating $50 per quarter and, at each meeting, the group selects a different local non-profit organization to receive the collective donations.

Please join us at the next meeting of 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Monadnock Covenant Church, 90 Base Hill Rd, Keene.

There will be refreshments and social time starting at 5:30, and the business portion of the meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We look forward to seeing the room filled with many of our members, and always welcome new members and guests to join us.
