KEENE, NH – Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services (HCS) will host a second fall Hospice Volunteer Training session, equipping participants with the tools and guidance needed to serve as part of the Hospice at HCS team.

Hospice Volunteers are an essential part of the care team at Hospice at HCS, offering comfort, companionship and support to individuals and families facing end-of-life journeys. Working alongside hospice-certified nurses, medical social workers, and spiritual counselors, volunteers help provide emotional support, caregiver respite, and a reassuring presence wherever the patient calls home – in their house, nursing facilities and assisted living communities. The upcoming training series will prepare new volunteers to take on this meaningful role and make a difference in the lives of others when it matters most.

The next six-week training will be held at Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services at 312 Marlboro Street in Keene beginning November 7, 2025 (class will not be held the week of November 29, 2025). Registration is required by November 4, 2025. For further information or to register, contact Lorraine Bishop, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, at 603-352-2253 or at lbishop@hcsservices.org
