What is Home Support?
Home Support Providers deliver light housekeeping services as established on an individualized plan of care.
Homemaking’s aim is to assist older adults and individuals with disabilities in maintaining cleanliness in their homes and to enhance their quality of life. When non-medical activities of daily living become too burdensome, our providers support in the trouble areas so individuals can remain as independent as possible.
We are happy to provide light housekeeping services such as:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean, dry, and put away dishes
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry
- Shopping/errands with cash, store gift cards, WIC, EBT, or check
- Preparation of light meals
- Make the bed or change the linens
- Limited dusting
- Empty wastebaskets
