Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization serving over 2000 people in 52 southwestern New Hampshire communities every day. HCS is Medicare certified and licensed by the State of New Hampshire as a home care provider. HCS is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of local residents who volunteer their time and are committed to the health and well-being of our community, and is proud to be a Monadnock United Way agency and a We Honor Veterans partner. HCS offices are located in Charlestown, Keene, and Peterborough.

The First Visiting Nurse Association in Southwestern New Hampshire

The first Visiting Nurse Association in southwestern New Hampshire began on September 17, 1907 when Miss Mary Morison and seven of her friends gathered in Peterborough to write the first chapter of what would become Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS).
