Welcome to the Family Resource Center at Healthy Starts

Our Family Resource Center is available for families in the community.  The space is designed to meet the needs of those using it in a variety of ways:

  • a warm and welcoming space, offering comfortable seating for conversations with our social workers and home visitors.
  • an engaging space for toddlers and older children to play or complete assignments.
  • a meeting space for small groups and committees such as our very own Advisory Committees.
  • a place to come and learn about programs and services available to assist their individual needs
  • Access to the internet and a printer/copier for important documents.

Our Family Resource Center is available to all community members. It is designed to be a drop-in center as well as a place for arranged gatherings, meetings, or workshops. Those who utilize the space will have access to kitchen and bathroom facilities as well as appropriate furniture and supplies for infant care, and toys and activities for older children. Access to the Center is wheelchair accessible as well as easy to enter with a stroller. Hours for drop-in times are:

Monday 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Wednesday 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Thursday 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Other times are available by appointment or arrangement by the Healthy Starts Family Resource Center Coordinator, Amy Delisle 603-352-2253 or 603-209-4608. A healthy Starts team member will be available to the community during these times.

During this time of COVID, health safety for guests and staff will be a top priority. One family and one staff will be allowed in the room at a time, face masks must be always worn, and a safe 6-foot distance maintained. Cleaning protocols will be followed to prepare the room for a next family.
