MODERN HOSPICE MOVEMENT
The Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor
Hospice service includes care from medical, social, and spiritual disciplines. The Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor is an integral part of the Hospice team. The Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor listens to the client and family members and is supportive with end of life needs.
The Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor contacts all clients to arrange a visit if they so choose. Arrangements for continued visits are made at the time of the initial visit. Visits can also be arranged by calling Hospice at HCS at 603-352-2253.
Non Denominational Spiritual Care
“. . . and I saw the boat which carries souls across the river and the name of that boat was love.”
—St. John of the Cross
“The clouds above us join and separate, The breeze in the courtyard leaves and returns. Life is like that, so why not relax? Who can stop us from celebrating?”
“If I survive this life without dying I’ll be surprised.”
“I lift up my eyes to the hills— From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
