Meals on Wheels delivers over 550 hot meals every day throughout Cheshire County. Your change can change the lives of at-risk seniors who need a hot meal AND a daily safety check.
Meals on Wheels participants usually have very low annual incomes and experience additional challenges accessing healthy meals.
Participants are homebound—unable to get out for groceries and many are physically unable to prepare meals for themselves.
85% of our Meals on Wheels participants say that the meals are their main meal of the day— and especially during the pandemic, the driver is the only person that the participant sees and chats with for a few minutes each day.
