HCS Celebrates GivingTuesday
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organization to transform their communities and their world. This year GivingTuesday is on November 28.
When you give to HCS for GivingTuesday, your kind donation will be put towards our Hospice Care Program, in recognition of November Hospice Month. The hospice goal is to help the patient and family members to come to terms with death as a part of life. HCS visiting nurses help families learn how to manage a loved one’s pain and symptoms and are on call 24 hours a day. Hospice is provided wherever people call home, including long term care, and assisted living facilities. HCS Hospice also includes medical social workers, physical and occupational therapists, home health aides and homemakers, volunteers, spiritual care, and ongoing bereavement support.
People demonstrate generosity in many ways on GivingTuesday. Whether it’s helping out a neighbor, showing up for an issue, or giving to causes we care about, every act of generosity counts. GivingTuesday has raised billions of dollars for critical causes around the world and encourages people to get involved in their communities.
